Developed a cutting-edge VR experience that enables users to explore and interact with modern homes in a highly realistic virtual environment. This solution allows users to visualize and experience their future homes as if they were physically present, from anywhere in the world.


Technical Details
- Environment Design:
– Needed detailed, lifelike VR home including interiors, and furnitures.
– Applied realistic materials and textures for surfaces, furniture, and fixtures to enhance the visual quality and authenticity of the virtual home.
- Architectural Visualization:
– Modified highly detailed 3D models of modern homes using Blender, accurately representing architectural plans and designs.
– Implemented realistic lighting and shadow effects in Unreal Engine 5.3 to simulate different times of day and ambient conditions, allowing users to experience the homes in various lighting scenarios.
- Interactive Design:
– interactive elements that allow users to walk through the homes, open doors, switch lights on and off, and even customize aspects of the interior design, such as wall colors and furniture placement can be implemented.
– An “Blueprint View” feature where users can switch between a first-person walkthrough and a top-down architectural blueprint mode, offering different perspectives of the property can be implemented.
- Narrative and User Experience Design:
– Guided tour narrative that provides users with detailed information about the home’s features, design elements, and available customizations as they explore each room can be implemented.
– Integrated voiceovers and text prompts to enhance user engagement and provide a comprehensive virtual tour experience can be added.
- Technical Implementation:
– Utilized Unreal Engine 5.3 to deliver high-fidelity visuals and smooth performance on both Meta Quest and PCVR platforms, ensuring an immersive experience for all users.
– Optimized the VR interactions for intuitive navigation and interaction, supporting various input methods, including hand tracking and VR controllers.
- Installation and Client Support:
-Provided comprehensive installation support for clients and users, ensuring that the VR configurator was seamlessly integrated across PCVR, Meta Quest, and VR platforms.
